As technology has progressed, so should change the housing and commercial premises visitor management systems. The conventional way of managing visitors on a notebook has many drawbacks. We, at GateX, feel that all those drawbacks can be overcome using technology, and provide better ways to manage the premises.
GateX is an easy and paperless solution for residents, society chairpersons and reception desks to manage and organise visitors. The visitors also save on time by not having to write their details on a notebook.
The GateX system has three components:
a) Admin console where the chairperson can add/ approve/ edit/ delete residents and can download reports of visitors.
b) GateX app which the residents can install on their smartphones and invite guests.
c) GateX Reception app which is installed on the reception desk smartphone.
The on-boarding process:
1) The chairperson signs up the society on GateX.
2) Chairperson adds residents in the system via admin console.
3) The residents install GateX app on their smartphones and approve the address.
4) The residents can also register themselves from the app which the admin can approve from the console.
5) GateXReception app is installed on the smartphone at the reception desk and logged in using society ID and password.
How it works:
1) A resident can invite a guest by selecting a contact from phone-book or just entering the mobile number.
2) GateX systems sends an invitation SMS to the number mentioning the details of the host including his/her mobile number, flat no, building, society address and an OTP.
3) The guest tells the OTP to the reception, and the gate-man validates the OTP in GatexReception app and grants entry.
4) Walk-in guests who do not have OTP can quickly enter their details in GatexReception app.
